Michael G. Sivak is the creator of such comics as VISCERA CEPHALOPODA, ALEXANDER OCTOPUS and MENCHI, the latter of which has appeared weekly in the SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT STATE UNIVERSITY NEWS since 2001, as well making sporadic appearances in the HAMDEN CHRONICLE and MILFORD WEEKLY newspapers. A six page comic he'd penned, entitled FALLING IS FLYING, was published on page 148 of the SPX 2003 ANTHOLOGY. Recently, Michael has worked as a freelance journalist/photographer in Connecticut; and is a co-founder/editor of SCIENTIFIC DINOSAUR a print/online zine dealing with art, science, and justice system issues. He also holds a B.A. in English from Southern Connecticut State University and is currently attending graduate classes at the same school. Michael G. Sivak uses his middle initial because he's not middle-aged scientist.
