| Although she's
gone to such extremes as attaining a "boy haircut" and wearing jeans and
90's-style plaid button-ups to fit in with the male-dominated profession,
Danielle is indeed
a FEMALE cartoonist who has been hiding in small publications for years.
Her first non-gag comic book, Hazelnuts,
will appear in fall 2003 as she continues to write about stupid college
humor in her ongoing strip Ramblers.
The fact of the matter is, she's only in the comic book biz for feminist
reasons, as the only OTHER male-dominated professions she could inject estrogen
into required biceps and constant pain. Additionally, she wouldn't look
too sharp sporting a hairy asscrack, and she can only throw a football "like
a girl." |
