Why You’d Want to Love Here

I love these mid-week holiday weeks – it gives a nice change of pace from the usual groan of life. On the flip-side, it means I need to squeeze a week’s worth of Day Job work into two and a half days, which means I’m rushing all over the place.

I’m rushed for time, so I’ll keep this brief and then get to the shipping list.

I am working on putting together another two sets of comics to send over to David Banks for binding. I can’t decide which two to work on yet – I need to check the ‘archives’. This would be for X-mas (arriving after, of course) but the product is terrific and well worth the wait. One of my original selections was good that someone recently shamelessly swiped it (and gave it a stupid name).

Otherwise, check out Dan Coyle’s latest review. It’s for some book called C.R.U.S.H., which I’d never heard of, and he did his usual good job. I love Dan’s reviews because he picks books I’d probably never read myself and usually has a great angle on them.

OK, on to the new stuff: End of the month means tons of new books.

Joshua Dysart has clearly put a lot into this new series and the art/colors is great so I’ll be here for a while. I hope, like DMZ, it gets a long life. It seems to me that there’s a lot of potential here.
