October, 1999
Our first issue! With a Pro File on Brian Bendis we launch PopImage as the new voice of online comics culture. Featuring interviews with Larry Young, Kieron Dweyer, Casey Jones, and Daniel Brereton, and a great WHITEOUT popping Cherries feature. The first installment of BOONDOGGLE in PI Comics, and a notable Facelift:LEGION rounds our our premiere.

PopImage is a monthly comics and culture magazine. Launched in October of 1999, PopImage strives to cover the more fashionable side of comics, and project our content to both regular comics readers and those new to the form.
