RANDOM
THOUGHTS.
Everyone
has those thoughts that are never spoken - Mal Jones writes his
down.
Never fear, I'm still here.
ONLINE SHMONLINE
Ok, online comics are showing up here and there.
In most cases I have one thing to say about most of them.
Screw 'em. Yes that's right. Screw 'em. People
just don't know how to do them right it seems, or they don't seem
to care enough to do them right.
"Hey guys! I know what to do! Let's get together
our crappy idea and slam it on some paper and put in online, where
no one can edit it, or say we suck cause it's free! It's the Internet!
YEAAAA!"
Ugh. Lately though things are looking up. Rust,
found right here at PopImage (there's a plug for you fellas) is
beautiful. Jonni Nitro is doing things up right, although they
are quickly becoming a movie-like thing, not so much a comic (although
I reviewed them anyway... heh... plug number two for the evening).
Abby's Menagerie is lovely as well.
So maybe things are starting to look up after
all. Give me something to hold…to turn the pages with…anytime,
however.
Staring at the computer screen too long gives
me a headache.
MONEY. THAT'S WHAT I WANT... sing it with me
now!
$2.25 for a marvel comic.
::ahem::
TWO DOLLARS AND TWENTY FIVE CENTS FOR A MARVEL
COMIC!!
Something is just inherently wrong with that.
The worst part about this is, I actually have started picking
up a few Marvel books lately, with plans on picking up more.
Those plans are out the window now. I'm talking
major budgeting cutbacks.
The other thing is... a lot of other fans feel
the same way.
Smooth Marvel. Real smooth.
END OF AN ERA
The Alamo saga has begun in DC's Preacher. ::sniff::
May we have a moment of silence please?
Ok. You may start yelling at me again.
