PopImage is a monthly comics and culture magazine. Launched in October of 1999, PopImage strives to cover the more fashionable side of comics, and project our content to both regular comics readers and those new to the form. This is the archive of our previous efforts. Be warned that some of the links may be slightly out of date and/or broken. Still, don't let that stop you from uncovering the wealth of knowledge contained therein.

October 1999
Our first issue! With a Pro File on Brian Bendis we launch PopImage as the new voice of online comics culture. Featuring interviews with Larry Young, Kieron Dweyer, Casey Jones, and Daniel Brereton, and a great WHITEOUT popping Cherries feature. The first installment of BOONDOGGLE in PI Comics, and a notable Facelift:LEGION rounds our our premiere..

November 1999
Featuring an exhaustive and acclaimed Pro File on Bryan Talbot, the November 1999 brought us Andrew Wheeler's news-making commentary on the outing of the Authority, Interviews with Joe Quesada, J.H. Williams III, and Mick Gray. Also thrill to the first installment of "RUST" in PI Comics, Larry Young's SOUNDTRAX on Astronauts in Trouble, and much much more.

December 1999
Last month's issue, our bumper festive edition, or something like that. All our ususal articles, a rather unusual ProFile looking at the up-and-coming creators for the year 2000.
