PopImage is a monthly comics and culture magazine. Launched in
October of 1999, PopImage strives to cover the more fashionable
side of comics, and project our content to both regular comics
readers and those new to the form. This is the archive of our
previous efforts. Be warned that some of the links may be slightly
out of date and/or broken. Still, don't let that stop you from
uncovering the wealth of knowledge contained therein.
October 1999
Our first issue! With a Pro File on Brian Bendis
we launch PopImage as the new voice of online comics culture.
Featuring interviews with Larry Young, Kieron Dweyer, Casey Jones,
and Daniel Brereton, and a great WHITEOUT popping Cherries feature.
The first installment of BOONDOGGLE in PI Comics, and a notable
Facelift:LEGION rounds our our premiere..

1999
Featuring an exhaustive and acclaimed Pro File
on Bryan Talbot, the November 1999 brought us Andrew Wheeler's
news-making commentary on the outing of the Authority, Interviews
with Joe Quesada, J.H. Williams III, and Mick Gray. Also thrill
to the first installment of "RUST" in PI Comics, Larry Young's
SOUNDTRAX on Astronauts in Trouble, and much much more.
