The Story: ODDS OFF comes after Maddens highly regarded BLACK CANDY, and his highly
experimental on-line comic Exercises in Style, a series of one page
comics inspired by the French writer Raymond Queneau’s work of the same name, telling the same story from as many different perspectives, styles, genre’s and points of view as possible.
ODDS OFF itself is the story of Morgan, the eroding relationship between and he and his girlfriend Shirin, and lance, a grad student who’s growing
obsession with him starts to interfere with his life. Madden promises that ODDS OFF will contain the same kind of humor and realism coupled with his
dedication to experimental story telling techniques as his earlier work.  
ODDS OFF is a 144 page, black and white original graphic novel costing

This Wednesday should see the release of Matt Madden's long delayed ODDS OFF graphic novel from Highwater Books (www.highwaterbooks.com). ODDS OFF was originally supposed to be in stores in early May, but due to printing errors the run had to be scraped and sent back to press.
