Hi-
Sorry, wrong Rob Hanes. Dumb, me, yeah.

Thanks for the help Rico! Would you like a job as PopImage's fact checker? It seems to be a job right up your alley. But seriously, the Rob Haynes we were talking about is a fictional character, debuting in Randy Reynaldo's ROB HANES ADVENTURES this October. Check it out at http://www.wcgcomics.com

Dear Poppers,
While I enjoyed Matt Singer's insightful review of the Human Target trade paperback, I was disappointed, nay, disheartened to see that he made no mention of the stunning cover art (which was dedicated to artist Edvin Biukovic) by Timothy Bradstreet. Or to the eyepopping reprints inside the book of Bradstreet's original covers.
Please forward this to Mr. Singer so he may be made aware of this grotesque oversight.
- Just kidding guys. Just wanted to tell you I think the site is smashing. I look foreword to seeing our just completed interview soon, here at the house of PoP.
Cheers - Tim Bradstreet
Dear Sir or Madam;
Whilst it is unfortunate that no specific reference was made to Mr. Bradstreet's frankly stunning work, we feel that it is widely known in the industry just how fantastic Mr. Bradstreet's work is (not to mention the esteemed Mr. Bradstreet himself being extrordinarily talented, not to mention pleasing to the eye!). Making specific reference as to the sheer stark beauty of the covers would be, in my opinion, redundant. Thank you for your interest.

Great site. It's streamlined, easy-to-navigate and very hip to boot. You have a good balance between mainstream and less mainstream books, the focus being (or so it seems to me) on good writing and good art, be it from the halls of DC and Marvel, or from the independents. Thanks for promoting comic books with a pulse.

Hey PopImagers--
I haven't read the articles yet, but I'm really looking forward to the new issue. Thanks in advance to all who worked on it. As a comics reader/fan who is gay, I sometimes (usually?) feel like an outsider looking in on an already outsider scene. Does that make sense? Anyway, thanks again.
Tom
You're welcome Tom. PopImage has always tried very hard to represent as many comic readers as we can. People often underestimate the number of comic readers who are gay simply because most of them don't speak up. We can only do so much to get the word out there about quality comics in general, and gay friendly comics specifically. Each one of you has to do your part as well. If you're gay, and a comic reader, then for god's sake speak up. Write messages to comic companies, creators, and particularly one juvenile, homophobic magazine. Your voice deserves to be heard.

Hi,
I've been reading through some of the new content for this week's edition. I have to say that it looks really good over all. I like the interview with the various gay creators and their opinions on different subjects.
One very minor detail, and it is minor. The link to the "Gay League of America" at the bottom of the page of this interview isn't a direct link anymore. This used to be where the site was, and it will redirect you to the new URL at www.gayleague.com. If it's possible for someone to make the change in the page's HTML source code, it might be less confusing for anyone reading the page and using the link, and then finding their way back to your content.
You can smack me later if I'm being too nitpicky! Or have Scott do it instead.
Joe Palmer
Joe is of course the web master for the official GAY LEAGUE OF AMERICA web site. This is an excellent resource if you're a gay comics fan, and I highly urge you to at least check it out.
And Joe, Scott will be happy to slap you. Twice.

Just wanted to say I just spent some time perusing the fifth week event at the site, and you hit it out of the part once again. :)
Jamie
I didn't just include this e-mail in order to name drop, I swear. If I wanted to do that, I would have included the e-mails I got from Devin Grayson, Roberta Gregory or Howard Cruse. Nope, I'm not one to name drop, not at all. Did I mention Jose Villarrubia said "Nice job!"?
Well that's it for this month, kiddies, thanks for reading. But remember this column can't go on if you don't talk to us! Please, e-mail us at popimage@hotmail.com! If you don't like something about the site, then please do tell us. Who knows, we may just agree with you and fix it.
And if you don't want your letter to appear in this column but want to send us an e-mail telling us how pretty we are, then make sure to tell us not to reprint your letter.
